You can use OOHPod's parcel lockers in lots of clever ways! Online shopping deliveries and returns is just one way to use our smart Parcel Lockers.
Here are some other ways to use them!
- Freecycle or Donation Drop-off: Useful for leaving items that you wish to donate or give away for free. People can pick up these items from the locker at their convenience.
- Swapping Items: They can be used for safely swapping items with others. For instance, exchanging books, clothes, or other goods with friends or through community swap initiatives.
- Dropping Off Keys: Ideal for Airbnb hosts or for those who need to share keys with family, friends, or service providers without the need for face-to-face interaction.
- Storing Luggage Temporarily: Why not use a parcel locker to store your bags for up to 48 hours? We've got lots of lockers in busy locations!
How to Drop Off:
Once you've set up your OOHPod account, you receive a unique OOH ID®
Head to your chosen parcel locker and ...
✔️ Choose 'Drop Off'
✔️ Enter in a suitable tracking code (eg the date + the persons name)
✔️ Add the recipients OOH ID and confirm the details are correct.
✔️ Place the parcel into the locker or choose 'Open bigger' if you need a larger locker.
✔️ The recipient will receive a notification with a unique Access Code
That's it!
Tip: If you want the recipient to pay for the use of the locker, use their OOH ID when dropping off. If you want it added to your account, use your own OOH ID and send the Access Code to the recipient.
