How to drop off a parcel using an OOH-ID

Drop off a parcel to any OOHPod Locker using an OOHID.

An OOH-ID is a unique OOHPod account number that is assigned to you when you register for the OOHPod service. You can drop off a parcel to an OOHPod locker using the recipient's OOH-ID, or if the recipient does not have an OOH-ID you can use your own and send the open code to your recipient. Follow the steps below to store your parcel:

Before you begin, please note that for full traceability, only one parcel should be inserted into a locker. Even if you have 2 parcels for the same recipient, they must be entered into separate lockers in order to track the parcel journey.

1. Touch DROP OFF on the OOHPod home screen and then choose "I am a Delivery Driver"


2. If your parcel has a label, scan the barcode at the scanner to the left under the screen, block any direct sunlight for best results.

3.  If your parcel has no label or you have any difficulty scanning, touch “Enter Manually” and you can enter the tracking number using the onscreen keyboard. If the item does not have a bar code you can enter any reference you like.

4. Enter the OOH ID from address on the parcel label. This is the reference beginning with “OOH” and then 8 digits. 

5. Do a quick check that the initials, and phone number (if you have it), on the screen match the recipient’s details on the parcel address label and touch “Confirm”

6. A locker door will open. If the parcel fits into the locker, place it inside and close the door. If you require a larger locker, close the door of the open locker and touch “Open Bigger” on the screen. Repeat this, if necessary until you get the required locker size. Place the parcel inside and close the door, and touch “Done” on the screen. ONLY ONE PARCEL PER LOCKER PLEASE! 

The recipient will immediately receive an SMS message with an access code to collect their parcel. And that's it you're done! 


TROUBLESHOOTING

If you have any issues storing a parcel, touch “Report An Issue” on the screen.

You will then be asked to choose between “Cannot Open” and “Parcel Oversized”. Choosing either of these options will cancel the transaction and the recipient will not be notified.
